K-2 Spalding Workshop for Parents

Mrs. Sheena Barton will lead a workshop for Kindergarten – 2nd grade parents regarding the philosophy and procedures for our phonics program, The Spalding Method. Parents will learn specific handwriting instruction and coaching skills for phonograms. An emphasis will be on manuscript writing, pencil and paper positions and instructions for homework procedures. Learn reasons for marking and rules used in The Spalding Method by actively applying analysis to the Ayres List of Vocabulary Words.
